Ready Teddy Go is situated in a prime location near Cleethorpes beach, Boating Lake and local Haverstoe Park. We take full advantage of our surroundings as we believe these sites offer a rich learning opportunity. The Nursery started in 1996 and We hope to continue caring, supporting and looking after your children for many years to come….
Starting at Nursery is a very important time for both parents/carers and children, which is why we aim to create a close relationship with both children and their families alike. We strive to ensure that children – stay safe, be healthy, enjoy & achieve and go on to make positive contributions in everything they do.

Curriculum
Our curriculum nurtures every stage of early development. Through play-based learning children aged 0–5 build confidence, curiosity, and key life skills. We balance creativity, language, physical growth, and social-emotional learning in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
Beach School
Children have the opportunity to attend Beach School sessions in the natural environment at our local beach. The children will learn about the coastline and value the beach. Sessions will include being safe, identification of flora and fauna, bird life, rock pools, shelter build
Funding
Funded childcare at Ready Teddy Go is available during term time only, between 9am and 5pm. Families may be eligible for government-funded hours for children aged two to five years. For full details and to check your eligibility, please visit beststartinlife.gov.uk.
Community
We celebrate community connections through enriching experiences. Children enjoy Claire Roach Yoga sessions, weekly library visits, and expressive Artiez Movement dance classes. We explore local parks and the nearby train station, helping children build confidence, and feel part of their wider community.
Staff
All our staff hold relevant childcare qualifications. Our Nursery Manager holds a Level 6 BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, and our Deputy Manager holds Level 4. Other team members hold Levels 2–6 in Childcare and Education. Our friendly, dedicated staff ensure a caring, professional learning environment.
